The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on October 09, 2026, issued the Draft Ramgarh Cantonment Building Bye-Laws, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The proposed Bye-Laws seek to regulate the erection, re-erection, addition and alteration of buildings within Ramgarh Cantonment, subject to prior approval from the competent authority.
•Building sanction applications are to be submitted online through the e-Chhawani portal, along with applicable fees and development charges.
•The draft proposes to supersede Notification No. 1326 dated August 16, 1941, upon finalisation.
•Objections and suggestions may be submitted in writing to the Cantonment Board, Ramgarh, within 30 days from October 10, 2026.
